Heart of Appalachia's FOIA Officer / Executive Director oversees all requests. Requests for information should be sent to the designated FOIA officer. Upon receipt, your request will be processed in accordance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.

Provide as much detail as possible so that we can fully understand what record(s) you are requesting. Your request must identify the records you are seeking with “reasonable specificity.” You must also include your legal name and address.
Reasonable fees may be charged (not to exceed the actual costs incurred in accessing, duplicating, supplying or searching for the requested information). Our practice (as of 7/1/23): All requests totaling $25 or more will be invoiced.
